What Happens In Vegas...

Back in February (yeah, it's been awhile since I've really sat down to blog about anything) Eric and I took the girls down to Fabulous Las Vegas! Eric has a building conference in St. George every year at this time and so we usually go with him for the week and spend a day or two down in Vegas. This year was no exception.

We went to a casino/hotel off the strip called The Silverton. They also just happen to have a huge Bass Pro Shop attached to the hotel which certainly didn't break Eric's heart. Just inside the front entrance of the hotel is a gigantic aquarium, complete with mermaids. They only show up every few hours, so we hung around until Haylie and Mikaela could get their first glimpse at a real live mermaid. Haylie was completely enchanted, Mikaela wasn't as impressed.

As we were leaving the Silverton, we saw this car being pretty well guarded. I think it was a Lamborghini. Eric was instantly in love. I told him he might as well get his picture with it, since that was the closest we'd ever come to owning one.

Of course, no trip to Vegas is complete without a stop at the M&M store.

Eric especially liked the racing car, but we'll save the details for another blog.

We also made sure to stop in at the Coca-Cola store. I love their vintage stuff. If I ever finish my basement, I'll do a Coke-themed soda parlor!

Can't wait until next year!

I've totally been to the Silverton. Brent took us out there to see the gigantic aquariam. It's kind of hard to look at. My eyes feel weird when looking through fish tanks. Anywho, I didn't know that they had live mermaids come into the tank. Cool. Gotta love Vegas baby! Where else can you find real live mermaids right next to a huge outdoorsman megastore?
