As Dallin would say..."Welcome to the Lifesucker!"

So, I've finally broken down and given in to peer pressure. I've joined Facebook, or as my sister calls it, "The Lifesucker". Okay, now I've always considered myself to have a fair amount of friends, but once you get on Facebook, it's like going back to high school. Holy cow, in one week I've reconnected with tons of old classmates that I really missed! And yes, it's true-it can totally be a lifesucker if you let it. There is always someone online and someone new to reconnect with, but it's also tons of fun! If you haven't yet, go check it out, click here and see for yourself!

It's Called A Bundt Cake! There's A Hole In This Cake.

Erin, Darby and Dallin came up for Sunday dinner last week since Eric was in Minnesota for his annual Code Conference. Sisters+dinner=lots of laughing, teasing and fun! Erin made a bundt cake for dessert. I'm not sure if the girls like it though. Haylie ended up resembling Captain Jack Sparrow and I'm really not sure what's going on with Mikaela. Let's just say if you came near her dessert it was "on like Donkey Kong". I would say they're fans, wouldn't you?

It's so fun to have sisters! Especially ones like mine. I hope my girls grow up to have the same relationship we do. I love ya sisters!

All Dressed Up And Nowhere Mom Will Let Me Go!

Haylie was so excited to go play at Olivia's house a week ago that she just couldn't wait around any longer for me to do her hair and get her ready, thus resulting in the above ensemble and scary coiff.
Let's see:
Pajamas...check
Sweater in sweltering heat...check
Seashell necklace...check
Plastic princess shoes...check
Small army of tiny hair clips haphazardly strewn throughout birdsnest (aka Haylie's hair)...check
Photograph of end result...priceless.

Gee, I can't wait for the day she decides to start dressing herself for school. (shudder)
