Yeah, I know I've got lots of updating to do, but before I get to all of that I have to get this documented before I forget!
Last Sunday we were getting ready for church when Haylie brought in a dollar and asked Eric if she could pay her tithing. Of course, we were obviously proud and pleased that she not only wanted to pay it, but that she was also (finally) paying attention to the lessons in her primary class.
Eric and I explained that by paying her tithing she would receive blessings from Heavenly Father for her obedience and her willingness to help build His kingdom. She seemed pleased by this and had Eric help her fill out her tithing slip as soon as we got to church.
Skip to the end of church. Eric and I were waiting by the Bishop's office to get our temple rec's renewed when out pops of member of the bishopric and right on cue, Haylie holds her hand out and says, "Where's my blessing?"
Apparently, we have some more explaining to do. It was pretty darn funny though!

Tooooooo Funny!!! Perhaps the next FHE should be on "The Glory of Delayed Gratification!"
That's hilarious...and probably a lesson we as adults need to remember at times too:) I love it!
