Who's Bleu At The County Fair? We Are!

Mikaela clowning around.

Haylie got to scale the climbing wall.

Haylie, trying her hand (literally) at milking a goat. She got a big kick out of it.

Mikaela thought the animals were the best part.

Mikaela loving the pony ride!

Haylie on her "stallion".

We went to the Weber County Fair on Friday night and had a fun time walking around, seeing the animals, letting the girls go on pony rides and all the other fun fair stuff. Haylie kept asking us if we would buy a little goat named Oreo, a tiny little guy who was, as you may have guessed from the name, black and white. He was cute, but not that cute!

Mikaela loved all the animals. She was more than happy to walk around looking at all the pigs, cows, horses and goats.

Corbin Bleu of High School Musical fame performed that night and although we didn't go to the concert, we were lucky enough to get his autograph and some pretty shnazzy photos after he was done with the obligatory "meet and greet" in the private trailers, etc. He was very nice and he let me snap him from all angles (awww). I about died when I heard this tiny little voice rise up from the crowd of teeny boppers to proclaim, "Corbin, I love you" and saw Haylie grinning from ear to ear. Corbin looked right at her and said, "How old are you, little one?" Haylie's smile almost split her face in half when she realized he was speaking to her and she threw her hands up to show off four little fingers saying, "I'm four." He laughed and then signed her piece of scrap paper (I couldn't find anything else for him to sign). Totally funny and that's all she talked about for the next two days!

Corbin, getting closer to us!

Smiling for the camera after signing an autograph for us! Yay, Corbin!

After a fun filled night, two very tired, but cute girls!

Sleeping Sideways Beauty

I walked in on Mikaela a few mornings ago while she was still totally zonked out and thought this looked pretty entertaining. I'm not sure how she's still on the bed, but apparently, after seeing her a few mornings later in the same position, I've come to realize that this is the normal sleeping position for her. Silly kid!
